Born in Ragusa on 6 February 1974. A lawyer specialising in Conciliation-Mediation, Consumer Protection, the Third Sector-Non-Profit and Civil Liability.
In 2009 he obtained the qualification of Legal Adviser in the Armed Forces at the Joint Services Staff College.
He currently holds the position of Regional Councillor of the National Association of Public Assistance (A.N.P.AS.) for the Sicily region.
In January 2013 he attended the training course "Passengers' rights in air transport", organised by Conf-consumatori Sicily region, under the patronage of ENAC and the Sicily Region.
Since 2012 he has been a National Councillor of the Albo Nazionale Disaster Management.
In 2012 he published, in the series of the University Centre for Research on the Sociology of Law of the University of Messina, a contribution entitled "Volunteering between integration and immigration", in the text "Narrare l'altro" by Prof. D. Carzo, ARACNE publishing house.
From 26 May 2008 to 30 November 2009 he took part in the "Training Project for Managers of the Southern Third Sector", carried out in collaboration by the University of Naples "Federico II" and the University of Bari.
From 1999 to 2002 he served as an officer at the 5th "Aosta" Infantry Regiment and the 1st Grenadiers of Sardinia Regiment. He was subsequently recalled, from October 2003 to January 2004 and from July to October 2008, as an Officer of the Reserve Forces, serving at the 62nd "Sicilia" Infantry Regiment in Catania.
